At LWF, our aim is to follow the pattern found in the 1st Century Church and raise up men from within our own congregation that are Biblically qualified to serve as a pastor (according to 1 Timothy 3:1-13) and then send those that are called out into the field that is white for harvest.

Pastor Nathan and Pastor Justin are both products of this training and equipping ministry from within LWF. Pastor Little Bear, Pastor Al and Pastor Phillip have all played apart in equipping these two pastors who felt led by the Holy Spirit into pastoral ministry. From this equipping ministry, we also have a church plant in Colorado from Pastor Joseph Graber who was trained also.

We recognize that there are those who are called by God to serve His church but that there is a need for those men to be equipped and trained for ministry. In 2026, the pastors of LWF plan to begin a new semester of training for men who are called for the purpose of equipping.
