The beauty of a gift of love. You have probably received one from a child, loved one or a close friend. They are very precious and special. In this passage of scripture, we see the beautiful gift that Mary gave to Jesus in preparation for His burial. Pastor Nathan helps us understand how costly and honoring this gift to Jesus was. He shows that we have a similar opportunity to follow her example in giving “the best that we are able” to our Savior. We also see how Judas, because of his greedy heart, was willing to criticize and scold Mary for her act of love and humility.
