As you well know, the devastation of the Guadeloupe River flooding that happened only a day ago has caused much destruction, uprooted many homes, and taken the lives of many. We are grieved and saddened by this tragedy and we are thankful that so many of you are praying for these families that lost homes and loved ones, praying for those that are still missing, and praying for the first responder and rescue teams.
I’ve spent some time this evening scouring Instagram to listening to stores, and hearing details from first-hand accounts and it’s heartbreaking. Some of you have asked how we can be of help either through donations or volunteer opportunities. I began looking for those details this evening as well.
While I don’t have knowledge of any volunteer opportunities at the moment, there are several ways we can donate that will directly help victims and first responder/rescue teams. Please give as you feel led.

Most of all, thank you for praying. Prayer is powerful and right now the search and rescue teams need our prayers, the families who are mourning need prayers, and the communities that will need to be rebuilt need prayers. May the Lord’s hand be upon each and every one of them.
