Here in 1 John 3:18-24, John gives us a very clear example of what is necessary for us to have assurance of our abiding in Christ. He did this due to many false teachers that were seeking to lead the early church astray and were clearly not from God. John assures the hearts of his listeners through several key tests which Pastor Phillip brings out in this message.
