This week, Pastor Phillip finishes out our study in Hebrews chapter 11 by pointing out the focus of the heroes of the faith that are rapidly identified by the author. An important distinction that he makes is that Paul identified these individuals as having been spared from suffering and death, but also being delivered to suffering and death, though the world was not worthy of them. In our Christian life, will we remain committed to what is right and true no matter the outcome? We have received the promise, they did not. That promise is Christ! We must follow their example since we have received that promise and remain faithful unto the end.
