This week, we had the special privilege of having Justin Blocker, our School of Ministry graduate, preach on Hebrews 13:9-16. In this passage, Justin outlines Paul’s encouragement to these Jewish believers to not give way to strange doctrines but to recognize the unique blessing of following Jesus since “we have an alter from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat”. This is a message encouraging us to stand boldly in who Christ is and against the ever-shifting winds of culture.
