A Study of the Book of Hebrews, Part 2

Remember that this book was written to the Jews? The first three verses of Hebrews chapter one make up the main point that the writer of Hebrews seeks to establish to his jewish audience. Pastor Phillip shows how the writer was establishing Jesus’ divine authority as given to Him by God which included His speaking the message of God in lieu of the prophets of old. This was important as the Jews would question, as many are still, whether or not Jesus is the Messiah. The rest of the book of Hebrews is a defense of these three verses.
