In this message, Pastor Phillip begins studying in Chapter 16 where we see Paul encounter Timothy and discerning his desire for the Lord, brings him into ministry. As a young man born to a Jewish mother and a Greek father, Timothy would have had difficulties engaging the Jewish community. Paul addresses these concerns and we see the start of a young man set on a trajectory to do great things for the Lord. Pastor Phillip encourages the young people in our midst to have the same heart as Timothy to pursue the Lord, be faithful in following Him, and be an example no matter our age.
