In this message Pastor Phillip continues in the study of Acts chapter 17 and discusses multiple topics. He points out the fact that the reason Paul and Silas encountered so much opposition was due to their preaching that Jesus is King – a message not easily accepted by in their day, nor readily in ours. Pastor Phillip also points out that Paul and Silas encountered a different group of Jewish people in Berea – people who were seriously considering what Paul said based on their searching of the scriptures. These were fair minded Jews who made their standard the Word of God and searched it diligently, and daily, to determine if what Paul and Silas were preaching, was true.
