In this message, Pastor Nathan takes a step away from our study of our mission and core values to deliver a timely message. Studying the passage of Daniel 3 with the testing of Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah we see a bold display of faith in God in opposition to King Nebuchadnezzar’s command to bow down and worship the idol he setup. We learn a valuable lesson for our age. There is pressure on the church today from our culture to capitulate to it’s demands in many areas and in a study of this passage, we find encouragement to be faithful to the Lord and His Word. Returning to a fear of the Lord and a true understanding of who God is, is pivotal in equipping the church of the 21st Century in America to be like these three of Daniel’s friends.
