The Apostle Paul brings up and a confrontation He had with the Apostle Peter because he was not living according to the Gospel and withdrew from eating with the eating Gentile believers which had a profound impact on others in the church. Paul uses this to show equal footing with the other Apostles and to stress the purity of the Gospel of faith alone in Christ.
