In today’s sermon, Pastor Phillip teaches from our study in Luke about two important events that give us insight into Jesus’ work. Jesus first explains to His disciples how all of the things the prophets foretold concerning the Messiah would be taking place in Jerusalem – including His death! However, as Pastor Phillip explains and Luke shows us, the disciples were slow in believing that Jesus would die. Then we see a blind man full of faith who cries out to Jesus asking Him to have mercy – a demonstration of the cooperation that God has with man in accomplishing His work on earth.
