Continuing from last week’s sermon, Pastor Phillip finishes his analysis of Stephen’s defense in Acts 7 and shows how Stephen, by the power of the Holy Spirit, was making a parallel to the spiritual leaders in the Old Testament who persecuted the prophets and the spiritual leaders of his day. They were no different and continued resisting the work of the Holy Spirit. So we see that God puts the Sanhedrin on trial through Stephen instead of the Sanhedrin putting Stephen on trial.
